Each DHB has the opportunity to appoint their own Site Network Co-ordinator to assist the Site Network Leader and to co-ordinate ON TRACK Network activities within their unit. The ON TRACK Network is able to provide a small amount of funding for salary support of this role.

Paula is a research nurse working for Middlemore Clinical Trials with a particular interest in neonatal studies. She has a varied nursing background which includes Adult, Paediatric and Neonatal Nursing which spans over 20 years. Paula completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Neonatal Nursing in 2001 and more recently a NZQA Adult Education and Training certificate.

Marian is the Clinical Nurse Coordinator at Tauranga Hospital Special Care Baby Unit which has 12 level 2 cots and receives approximately 430 admissions each year. As Site Network Coordinator for the ON TRACK Network Marian is involved in promoting and raising awareness of the trials currently taking place at Tauranga Hospital, a busy secondary unit with approximately 1800 births each year. Marian is passionate about research which improves the way we care for women and their babies.

Linda has extensive midwifery experience, having worked in the United Kingdom and in various locations in New Zealand. She currently works as a core midwife at Nelson Hospital, a secondary unit with approximately 800 births each year. Linda is excited about the possibility of the ON TRACK Network to help secondary units engage in research.

Jen works as a core midwife at Grey Base Hospital, which serves a small population spread across a large geographical area. The geographical isolation adds to the challenges of working on the West Coast, requiring a broad range of clinical skills. Jen is keen to incorporate research into clinical practice, and has been involved in several audits which are designed to improve and inform policy making.
